Installing on macOS
- Open the DMG you downloaded — a ChatterBox volume mounts.
- Drag ChatterBox onto the Applications shortcut in the same window, then eject the volume.
- First launch only: right-click ChatterBox in Applications → Open → Open. If macOS still blocks it, go to
System Settings → Privacy & Securityand click Open Anyway next to ChatterBox. - Sign in with your ChatterBox account (WhatsApp code as usual). You stay signed in between launches.
Why the warning? This vessel is hand-built and signed at the Helm, not
notarized through Apple's paid developer programme — macOS flags any app from
outside the App Store the first time. The override is needed once, per machine.
